Ghana international defender Rashid Sumaila is keen on doing well in the AFC Cup with his Kuwaiti side Qadsia SC after crashing out of the AFC Champions League recently.
Qadsia face Turkmenistan side FC Ahal at Ashgabat Stadium on Wednesday in their Group C clash.
Sumail, who is on loan from South African side Mamelodi Sundowns, is yet to confirm if he plans on making his move a permanent one but says he, hopes for good things on Wednesday.
"We did not do so well in the Champions League and we have to make up for that with the Federations Cup," Sumaila told GHANAsoccernet.com.
"We will play again this week and we know we cannot afford to slip up, no we can't.
"The supporters have been splendid and we need to reward them with at least success in the AFC Cup," he added.
