Mario Balotelli struggles to make an impact against West Brom

In case if Liverpool fans didn’t already know the stats from their game against West Bromwich Albion, they only go to show how bad Mario Balotelli was, failing to justify his starting spot on Saturday.
Balotelli was handed his first start since November in the Premier League as manager Brendan Rodgers surprised people with his team selection.
The decision didn’t work with Balotelli failing to influence the game. The striker didn’t have a single shot on target or make a single key pass.
On top of that his pass accuracy was worryingly low, just 71%, and fans were not pleased with his performance during the game.
It would be fair to say that Balotelli hasn’t worked as a transfer for Liverpool, with the Italian scoring just one Premier League goal since his £16 million move from Milan last summer.
He was originally signed as part of the replacement plan for Luis Suarez, who joined Barcelona, but like a lot of the other new arrivals it hasn’t gone to plan.
The Mirror have suggested that Liverpool are prepared to cut their losses and move Balotelli on during the summer, with many unimpressed by his attitude since he arrived at the club.
