Peterborough United vs Crawley Town preview - Payne and James back for Posh

Jack Payne and Luke James are set to return for Peterborough's final home game of the season against relegation-threatened Crawley but Kgosi Ntlhe is suspended.

Midfielder Payne, the Posh captain, and striker James both missed the 1-1 draw with Barnsley through injury. Ntlhe was sent off at Oakwell and the full-back will not play again this season after receiving a two-match ban.

Youngster Leo Da-Silva-Lopes could make his debut on Saturday. Manager Dave Robertson has written to the 16-year-old's school to ask permission for him to train with the first-team on Friday ahead of him potentially starting at the weekend.

Jon Taylor is struggling to recover from his knee problem and the winger's season looks to be over. Jermaine Anderson (toe) and Jack Baldwin (knee) remain long-term absentees for Peterborough, who are without a win in six matches.

Crawley can welcome back Marvin Elliott, who is fit after missing the 2-0 win over relegation rivals Notts County with a shin injury.

Elliott could replace Anthony Wordsworth in midfield after he went back to Ipswich at the end of his loan spell with the Reds.

Josh Simpson made his first appearance since November following a hamstring injury against County and, having got more than an hour under his belt with no reaction, he could figure against his former club.

Conor Henderson (ankle) and Dean Leacock (groin) are therefore the only injury absentees.
