Oldham Athletic AFC vs Chesterfield preview - Duo could boost Latics

George Elokobi and Jacob Mellis could play a part for Oldham against Chesterfield.
Former Wolves defender Elokobi and ex-Barnsley midfielder Mellis (both hamstring) were unused substitutes in the draw with Coventry on Tuesday and Latics boss Dean Holden confirmed the pair are now fully over their respective injuries.
However, Holden may be without defender Joseph Mills (hamstring) and top scorer Jonathan Forte (knee) for the remainder of the campaign.
Midfielder Luke Woodland recently extended his loan stay from Bolton until the end of the season but remains out injured at the moment.
An injury to Drew Talbot will force Chesterfield manager Paul Cook to change the team that crushed Colchester 6-0 in midweek.
Talbot was withdrawn midway through the first half on Tuesday night due to a hamstring problem and the right-back will miss the Spireites' remaining three League One fixtures.
Either Daniel Jones or Ritchie Humphreys is expected to replace Talbot in the team at SportsDirect.com Park, where victory could guarantee a top-six finish for Chesterfield.
Changes elsewhere will be minimal but Gboly Ariyibi may have a chance of a recall should Cook opt to rotate his attacking players.
