FRIENDS of popular BBC Radio Derby presenter Colin Bloomfield , who is fighting cancer, have been changing their Facebook profile pictures to show support for him.
Over the past 24 hours, a number of his friends have changed their online profiles to one where they are pictured with the 33-year-old.
And, yesterday, at Derby County's match against Brentford, the crowd stood up and chanted his name in the 33rd minute of the match - as they too showed their support for his cancer battle.
On Friday, Colin took to social media to keep people informed of how his cancer battle was going.
In a message on Twitter, he said: "A massive thanks to everyone for their kind words.
"Was admitted to a hospice in Shrewsbury in midweek, hopefully to make things comfortable.
"The brain scan last week showed the tumours are getting worse and from here on in it's making me as strong as possible to cope with any new drug."
