Ozil, Morgan and more: Twitter reacts as Arsenal shoot down Burnley

Arsenal moved to within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea thanks to a battling 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.

Aaron Ramsey scored the only of the game when he drilled into the roof of the net from close range in the 12th minute.

The win helped the Gunners become the first team to win eight games in a row this season.

Saturday's late kick-off prompted plenty of activity on social media - and here are some of our favourite updates.

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) celebrates Ramsey's opener in typical fashion: "BOOOOOOM! 0-1 #Whatshisname #afc"

Rodney Marsh (@RodneyMarsh10) updates his followers: "5 arsenal players in the box, falls to Ramsey 1-0 !!!"

David Thompson (@77thomo) singles out Francis Coquelin for special praise: "Coquelin is different class and so important to #Arsenal #TheGunners"

Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) pokes fun at any disgruntled Arsenal fans still calling for Wenger's head: "8 Premier League wins on the bounce for Arsenal. #Wengerout"

Morgan (@piersmorgan) can't help but respond: "@GaryLineker 11 years on the bounce without a Premier League title. #WengerIn"

Back to Lineker (@GaryLineker): "@piersmorgan Jeez, Tubs. You're very close to being genuine contenders again. For crying out loud enjoy it."

Morgan (@piersmorgan) bites back: "@GaryLineker nearly contending? You expect me to be happy about NEARLY CONTENDING? Do I like look a Spurs fan?"

And Lineker (@GaryLineker) has the final say: "@piersmorgan you should just concern yourself with looking like a 'proper' Arsenal fan. "

Héctor Bellerín (@HectorBellerin) chimes in after the final whistle: "Another big win for us. 8 wins in a row, got to keep believing!! #COYG"

And that just leaves Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil (@MesutOzil1088) to have the final say: "Job done! 8th win in a row and second for another week. Enjoy your weekend, Gooners! #YaGunnersYa #BFCvAFC #BPL"
