Carlo Ancelotti: Real Madrid will hold talks with Manchester United over Javier Hernandez transfer
Javier Hernandez scored during a rare start for Real Madrid

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed the club will hold transfer talks with Manchester United at the end of the season about Javier Hernandez.

The Spanish giants gave Hernandez a rare start against Eibar in which the Manchester United loanee scored on Saturday.

The Mexican forward is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer as he does not feature in Louis van Gaal's plans.

Ancelotti was impressed with his display and told the Spanish press that they would open negotiations at the end of the season.

'Chicharito played very good,' he said.

'He's still a Manchester United player but we will hold talks at the end of the season.'

Whether they will also try to push through a deal for United goalkeeper David de Gea in these discussions remains to be seen.
