Ian Wright: Forget Eden Hazard, Harry Kane is better

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has been giving his opinions on who the Premier League player of the year should be and believes that Tottenham's Harry Kane should trump Chelsea's Eden Hazard to the prize, reports Goal.
With the PFA Player of the Year and PFA Young Player of the Year awards coming up in May, Kane has emerged as an unprecedented late contender for both awards, which Wright feels he deserves over the likes of Hazard.
People talk about Eden Hazard but he's kind of eased off a bit. Chelsea's form has dipped and that's coincided with the fact that it's not going as well for Eden Hazard as it was. Harry has been brilliant for Tottenham - he's been their main man and answered all the questions,” stated Wright, who now works as a pundit for the BBC.
Tottenham's Harry Kane is now worth £100m, says Rodney Marsh
Kane didn't start to become a regular in the Tottenham side until November, meaning that his 19 goal haul so far this season in an incredible feat. He has also created 20 chances in that time but cannot compete with Hazard in that area, as the Belgian has created a staggering 79 chances, the most in the Premier League.
Kane is currently joint top scorer in the Premier League with Diego Costa and scored his first ever England last Friday, during the 4-0 victory over Lithuania at Wembley. He will face relegation contenders Burnley this weekend with the hope of adding to his impressive tally, whilst Hazard will line up against Stoke City at Stamford Bridge.
Kane has a 61% shot accuracy this season.
