With three consecutive Serie A titles under their belt, and a fourth on the way, Juventus' dominance of Italian football has shown no sign of waning under the tutelage of Massimiliano Allegri. However, this summer could be crucial in determining whether they can win the title next season.
The Old Lady have been linked a host of big names, particularly Edinson Cavani and Paulo Dybala, but face a struggle to keep hold of superstars of their own. If the likes of Carlos Tevez, Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal all depart it could provide an opportunity for Roma, Napoli, Lazio or Fiorentina to challenge for silverware next term.
POGBA RUMOURS
Ever since Antonio Conte brought Pogba to Turin on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2012, the Frenchman has been regularly linked with a move away given the spectacular nature of his performances in the famous black and white colours of the club.
Yet this summer could be the one where they face the biggest fight to keep him. The 22-year-old has played a key role in Allegri's maiden season at the helm, scoring seven goals and contributing two assists in 22 league appearances, but could soon find himself in the midst of a tug-of-war for his services.
Former club United are keen to bring him back to Old Trafford, with Louis van Gaal keen to recruit a bulldozing midfielder to add tenacity and bite to his midfield. AS Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman was originally the number one target but injuries have since prompted the club to cool their interest in the Netherlands ace.
