Felipe Anderson's agent says the forward has no plans to leave Lazio in the near future despite interest from the Premier League.

There has been growing interest in the Brazilian this season, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all reportedly sending scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action.

Anderson has been in stunning form, scoring nine goals and setting up another six in 22 Serie A appearances, and has been heavily tipped to move on.

But despite the talk of a switch to England, he only recently signed a contract extension with Lazio until June 2020 and his agent insists his client is content in Rome.
"We recently signed a contract extension with Lazio and he is really happy in Rome," Anderson's agent Stefano Castagna told Italian radio station Radiosei. "The player still had three-and-a-half years left in his contract and there was no rush to sign a new deal.

"However, we are happy that they have given the player this trust and given him the possibility to continue with this project.

"It was not difficult to reach an agreement to renew his contract as we have an excellent rapport with the club.
"We are very happy that the president and his staff have shown a lot of faith in Anderson.

"It's normal that one always looks to its own interests, but in this case the wish of both the club and the player was the same.

"The fact that many important teams are coming to see him is a consequence of the great work he is doing."
Lazio have won their last six league games to climb to third in the Serie A, just one point adrift of city rivals Roma.

"I see no particular problem in Anderson staying, even without Champions League qualification," Castagna said. "Playing in that tournament would be ideal, but the Europa League is good too."
