Raith Rovers vs Queen of South preview - Nade banned for Raith

Raith are again missing striker Christian Nade through suspension when they host a Queen of the South side that defeated them 2-0 on March 14.

Barrie McKay is expected to return after a knock with manager Grant Murray looking for his side to give their slim promotion chances a boost.

Murray said: "It will be extremely difficult to finish above Queen's and grab a play-off place but we will be going out looking to win the game.

"We knew that they had won before we played Alloa on Saturday but the players went out and got us the win. We will need a similar approach in this game."

The Doonhamers will travel east with a full squad if Paul Burns can overcome a hip injury as they look for the win that would keep them four points clear in fourth place.

After three wins out of three against their hosts, manager James Fowler is warning his players that Raith will be looking for revenge.

He said: "Nobody wants to let a team get a clean sweep over them and Raith will be going all out to stop that happening.

"The fact that our last win is pretty recent as well will make them even more determined to beat us, so we are well warned."
