Wigan Athletic vs Bolton Wanderers preview - McClean misses out again

James McClean completes a two-match suspension when Wigan host Bolton in a derby game at the DW Stadium.

The Republic of Ireland international, booed by Wanderers supporters in the reverse fixture for his decision not to wear a poppy on his shirt, picked up his 10th yellow card of the season in the win over Rotherham last weekend.

New loan signings Josh Murphy and Jerome Sinclair both came off the bench in the midweek loss to high-flying Watford so Malky Mackay could hand full debuts to them.

Latics have not won at home in seven months and remain without Grant Holt (knee) and Emyr Huws (ankle) for the remainder of the season.

Bolton have received a triple injury boost ahead of the short trip.

Manager Neil Lennon confirmed striker Adam Le Fondre (virus), Manchester United loanee Saidy Janko (back) and veteran forward Emile Heskey (hamstring) had all trained on Thursday with a view to being involved.

Midfielder Neil Danns completes his two-match suspension, but Wanderers are likely to make several changes from the team they took to Ipswich in midweek, with Paddy McCarthy and Barry Bannan among those vying for a return to the starting line up.

Lennon has been battling injury problems over the past few weeks and although Adam Bogdan (ankle) is fit again and Mark Davies (knee) is nearing a return, Max Clayton (knee), Zach Clough (shoulder) and David Wheater (hamstring) are out for the season.
