Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson is being talked up as possible transfer target for Barcelona by the Spanish media.
Henderson, who is expected to take over from Steven Gerrard as Liverpool captain in the summer, has 18 months left to run on his current deal.
A new contract is seemingly coming, but El Mundo Deportivo reckon Barca could be eyeing him for a possible deal next January.
Henderson would be eligible to sign a pre-contract then to join for free.
The rumour seems largely driven by paper talk, but Barca are known to have had scouts at Anfield matches in recent weeks watching players.
