Spanish hit man could finally be heading to London after all.
Arsenal have been given the go ahead to make a move for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata after the Serie A giants have expressed a desire to let him go, according to the Metro.
Morata was linked with a move to the Emirates last summer, but instead opted to head to Turin where his late season form has caught the eye of Arsene Wenger.
Madrid made sure to install a buy back option in the striker's deal, but reports close to the Spanish capital claim that Los Galacticos are keen to pass.
Instead, Real and Juve have agreed to allow him to move to either Arsenal or Liverpool depending on which side coughs up £60m.
Morata undoubtedly has a bright future in the game, but at £60m he may prove to be out of either side's price range.
