Norwich City vs Wigan Athletic preview - Tettey out for Norwich

In-form Norwich will be without midfielder Alex Tettey when they welcome struggling Wigan to Carrow Road in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Norway international was booked for the 10th time this season in Sunday's 2-0 East Anglian derby victory over Ipswich.

Tettey will now miss out against Latics - when the Canaries will be searching for a seventh successive win - as well as Saturday's trip to Millwall.

Striker Cameron Jerome, with 17 goals this season, came off with a foot injury in the latter stages against Ipswich but he is fine.

Wigan boss Malky Mackay has no fresh injury concerns for the trip.

Goalkeeper Scott Carson returned to the starting XI for Saturday's 3-1 victory over Blackpool and he looks likely to keep his place ahead of fellow shot-stopper Ali Al-Habsi.

Striker Leon Clarke (shoulder) made his comeback from the bench at the weekend and he is in contention to start should Mackay opt to make any changes to his forward line.

Long-term absentees Emyr Huws (ankle) and Grant Holt (knee) remain sidelined but Leon Barnett (knock) has returned to training.
