Brechin City vs Dunfermline preview - Barr back for Brechin

Brechin City will add fit-again Bobby Barr to their squad as they look to extend their unbeaten league run to 15 games and defeat Dunfermline for the second time in eight days.

Darren McCormack and Alan Trouten are injury doubts for the Glebe Park men, with manager Ray McKinnon wary of facing the Fifers in the wake of their 5-1 defeat by Stranraer on Saturday.

McKinnon said: "Dunfermline are a good side and they will be disappointed by their recent results. They will want revenge on us and also to close the gap we have on them.

"They are also out to recover some wounded pride after losing heavily on Saturday."

The Pars will be without Gregor Buchanan, who is suspended after being sent off at Stair Park, however Shaun Byrne could return after a knock.

Ryan Wallace remains out with a pelvic problem.

Manager John Potter is looking to get his side's promotion push going again.

He said: "Saturday hurt everyone but we have to dust ourselves down and look to get winning again. We are the only people that can recover the situation and get us closer to the top four.

"We know that we need to get wins to get us involved in the promotion race and hopefully winning again will start at Brechin."
