Swindon vs Gillingham preview - Swindon light for Gills clash

Posted Monday, March 02, 2015 by PA

A host of injuries have left Swindon short-staffed for the visit of Gillingham.

Anton Rodgers (wrist) and Louis Thompson (shoulder) are definitely ruled out, with the latter due to undergo scans to discover the extent of a potentially season-ending injury.

Ben Gladwin is a doubt after suffering discomfort in his neck, but captain Nathan Thompson is expected to overcome an ankle problem.

Jack Stephens is the final man who will definitely miss out for Mark Cooper's men, as he begins a suspension following a red card in the draw at Crewe.

Gills boss Justin Edinburgh has a few injury concerns after suffering his first defeat since taking charge of the club on Saturday.

Bradley Garmston's injury-plagued season continued with a pulled hamstring, which rules him out of the trip to Swindon.

Josh Pritchard, who recently returned from a calf problem, failed to make the squad at the weekend and is a doubt as he bids for full fitness.

Aaron Morris, who has also been absent with a bad hamstring, returned to the bench and is pushing for a recall, although it may be too soon for Amine Linganzi.
