Manchester United are set to be handed a major transfer boost ahead of the summer window...
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has refused to answer any questions regarding the contract situation of full-back Dani Alves, whose current deal expires at the end of the season, reports the Daily Express.
According to the source, Manchester United are big admirers of the Brazilian, who Louis van Gaal views as the perfect solution to his current full-back issues.
The player's agent has already discussed a £100,000-a-week, three-year deal for the 31-year-old, and it looks as if a move could well be completed - providing the Red Devils qualify for next season's Champions League.
Speaking ahead of the Catalan's weekend game against Granada, Enrique said: "Dani's one of the nicest guys in the dressing room and a winner. I know him both professionally and personally. He's a true example to everyone [at the club].
"It wasn't the first time he left the pitch sad or angry. It happens to many players. My team selections show I have confidence in Alves. He's a unique player and the appropriate people will make a decision [on his renewal]."
