Jack Wilshere is out of Arsenal's last-16 Champions League clash with Monaco tomorrow night.
OUT: Wilshere will miss tomorrow's game as a precaution
Wilshere, who returned as an unused substitute in Saturday's win at Crystal Palace, will miss the tie as a precaution.
The England midfielder was not considered as he sat out training following his four-month absence with an ankle injury.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger played down suggestions Wilshere had suffered a fresh setback and said: "He trained hard to come back from injury, and we rested him - but no way is it a setback."
"He's not involved tomorrow [Wednesday] but will certainly be available for the weekend."
Arsenal have gone out at the same last-16 stage for the past four seasons against Euro giants Barcelona, AC Milan and Bayern Munich(twice).
Monaco are viewed as one of the weaker top seeded sides but Wenger - who faces his old club for time in a competitive fixture - insists there are no easy ties in the competition.
He said: "They say we have the pressure because we are favourites."
"Maybe, I don't know if we are favourites or not, for me it is a 50/50 game. There is a pressure on the game but that is what you want to do."
