Bernabeu's anti-Messi chants to be acted on

The Spanish Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport has accepted a complaint from a Catalan charity concerning chants at the Bernabeu deemed offensive to people with disabilities.
Dincat, the Catalan Intellectual Disability Federation, has revealed that it has been asked to provide audio and video evidence of the events during the 'Clasico' on 25th October 2014, during which chants such as "Messi is a retard" and "Supporting Barça is retarded" were allegedly sung repeatedly by the Real Madrid fans. The organisation claims to have already assembled this evidence.
The complaint has also been sent to Real Madrid in writing so that the club can respond to the allegations.
Dincat brings together over 300 non-profit bodies offering services for some 30,000 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Catalonia and has filed the complaint because it considers the chants in question insulting to the groups it works with.
