Portsmouth vs Tranmere preview - Pompey to stick with winning side

Portsmouth are likely to be unchanged against Tranmere following their 6-2 win over Cambridge on Saturday.

Boss Andy Awford named the same starting line-up for a fourth successive match and was rewarded with only their second away victory this season.

Full-back Josh Passley, who passed a late fitness check on a tight hamstring to face the Us, will play the final game of his current loan spell from Fulham but Awford hopes to extend the deal.

Midfielder Wes Fogden is building up his fitness following a long-term knee injury and striker Paul McCallum is still suspended.

Tranmere will assess Kayode Odejayi and Adam Dugdale.

The pair picked up knocks in the weekend's win over high-flying Shrewsbury and will be monitored prior to the game at Fratton Park.

Dugdale was complaining of a tight calf having played 90 minutes at Prenton Park on Saturday but, should he not make it, Rovers have one defender back regardless as Michael Ihiekwe (ankle) will travel with the squad.

However, Cole Stockton (hernia), Matt Hill (Achilles) and Marcus Holness (knee) are all absent for Micky Adams' side.
