Aston Villa sack Paul Lambert

Aston Villa have sacked manager Paul Lambert, the club have announced.
The Villans have had a dire season so far and currently sit in the Premier League's relegation zone.
Lambert’s side have only managed five wins this campaign and scored a measly 12 goals despite boasting Belgian international Christian Benteke amongst their ranks.
And with their top-flight status at stake, a 2-0 defeat to Hull City on Tuesday night was the final straw for owner Randy Lerner.
First-team coach Scott Marshall and goalkeeping coach Andy Marshall will take charge for their game with Leicester City in the FA Cup on Saturday.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Aston Villa Football Club has parted company this evening with manager Paul Lambert."
"The club would also like to place on record its thanks to Paul and take this opportunity to wish him every success in the future."
"The club will announce a new manager in due course. There will be no further comment from the club at this stage."
