The rise of Harry Kane has been rather incredible.
From being virtually unknown to banging in goals against Champions League regulars like Chelsea and Arsenal, his transformation into a top class striker has happened overnight.
Confirmation of how exciting Kane is looking comes with the news that Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on him. The Daily Mail report that Madrid are seriously considering trying to nab another Spurs star.
The European champions have twice taken the best player in Tottenham’s ranks when they signed Luka Modric in 2012 before splashing the cash on Gareth Bale in 2013.
Now, in the few days after Cristiano Ronaldo has turned 30, Madrid are said to be looking for younger strikers and the 21 year old fits the mould.
It’s an obstacle that he’s signed a five year deal at White Hart Lane but, as Madrid have shown before, persistence pays and every Spurs player has his price.
