Alexis Sanchez 'ready to quit Arsenal' after being usurped by Santi Cazorla - claims Spanish newspaper

Alexis Sanchez has starred for Arsenal this season

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo are running one of the more unlikely transfer rumours today, claiming Alexis Sanchez is ready to quit Arsenal as he's unhappy at the attention being received by Santi Cazorla.

Sanchez joined the Gunners last summer and has since been the shining star in Arsene Wenger's side.

But team-mate Cazorla is enjoying a fine run of form of late, scoring six goals in his last 10 outings.

And according to Mundo Deportivo (as reported by the Guardian) this has really annoyed Sanchez - so much so he's ready to walk out of the Emirates to be top dog elsewhere.

We can't honestly say we're sold on this one.
