Eintracht Frankfurt vs Wolfsburg preview - Forget about Bayern scalp - Hecking

Wolfsburg coach Dieter Hecking has told his side to put their 4-1 win over Bayern Munich behind them and not slip up at Eintracht Frankfurt on Tuesday.
The Wolves roared into the new year by inflicting the first defeat of the season on the Bavarians, reducing the deficit on Pep Guardiola's men at the top of the Bundesliga to eight points.
That win will count for little if they do not follow it up with another, however, and Hecking has warned his players not to think they have already done all the hard work after only one game of 2015.
"We've got a difficult challenge and that is to prove that what we did was no fluke," Hecking said at a press conference.
"I'm curious to see how we deal with the situation."
While Wolfsburg still have only an outside chance of catching Bayern at the top, Hecking says his side must nevertheless keep up the pressure to ensure the sides behind them do not catch up.
"We cannot afford any stumbles," said Hecking, whose side are seven points clear of three clubs in a share of third.
"Otherwise we are going to come under pressure straight away from the teams behind us."
Hecking has question marks over the fitness of Bas Dost, who grabbed a brace against Bayern, and Ivan Perisic.
Timothy Chandler is suspended for Frankfurt, whose coach Thomas Schaaf has complimented Wolfsburg for their win over Bayern, a result which drives home the gulf between the two clubs.
"They are millions of euros and financial years ahead of us," Schaaf said. "Their performance against Bayern was more than just impressive - hats off to them.
"But we still want to play a good game. We've analysed our mistakes from Freiburg and tried to eliminate these."
Frankfurt's start to 2015 was in stark contrast to Wolfsburg's as they went down 4-1 at Freiburg on Saturday.
