Moyes:
HE GUSHED PRAISE ON THE ITALIAN

David Moyes believes that Carlo Ancelotti "is one of the best managers in the world" and praised the job which he has done at Real Madrid, although he remains confident that he can spring a surprise on 'Los Blancos' this Saturday.

"His success in the Champions League last year was fantastic and he is a coach with a wealth of experience. We've crossed paths on occasion when I managed Everton and he was at Chelsea", said Moyes, who remembers that the Italian coach allowed him to attend his training sessions when he was starting out as a manager.

He believes that Sociedad can win at the Bernabéu, despite their "history" and called for his players to be "arrogant and have a little confidence that they can keep hold of the ball against such a good team". Moyes admits that they will not produce "10 or 12 goalscoring chances" and has therefore asked his players to be "effective" in order to "win the game" and to make the most of the chances which they do create.

The Scot is determined that his side shows character in Madrid and for his men to "believe that they can do it and not play as a team that just sits back and defends".

Moyes does not think that Real Madrid will suffer without Cristiano Ronaldo, because they have other great players like Gareth Bale, who he describes as "very quick and difficult to stop, with incredible speed and one of the best in the world".
