Paul Pogba's agent discusses the midfielder's Juventus future

Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Paul Pogba after the midfielder's agent hinted at a move away from Juventus.

The 21-year-old playmaker has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in European football since moving to Serie A from the Red Devils back in 2012.

Pogba has been linked with a big-money move back to Old Trafford in recent months, with Chelsea also credited with an interest in the highly-rated France international.

The Juve midfielder's agent Mino Raiola spoke about Pogba's future at the Serie A champions, suggesting the former United man could leave Turin within the next two years.

"If you want to keep hold of him, then you've got to build a side strong enough for Pogba to improve in, but if you don't sell him, you don't have the money to do that," Raiola told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Everybody has got a card in their hand, and it's all about when you play it. If it's not this year, it will be the year after.

"All I want is that whoever wants to buy him really believes in him and pays him the world, and if Paul leaves Juve he does it to go to the very top."

Pogba has scored six goals and has made one assist in 17 Serie A appearances this season.

The France star has also netted in the Champions League and Coppa Italia in the current campaign.

The 21-year-old quit Old Trafford for Juventus in 2013 after he failed to earn a first-team spot under Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Juve midfielder has won two successive Serie A titles since his move to the Turin outfit two-and-a-half seasons ago.
