Chesterfield vs Crawley Town preview - Spireites remain without winger

Chesterfield will have an unchanged squad when bottom club Crawley visit the Proact Stadium.

Winger Gary Roberts, out for around six weeks with a hamstring injury, will remain the only player unavailable to Spireites boss Paul Cook.

Cook made one change for the FA Cup tie at Derby at the weekend, replacing Roberts with Jay O'Shea, and any changes will again be kept to a minimum on Tuesday night as Chesterfield look for the victory that would see them climb up to fifth place in the League One table.

Cook has the likes of Dan Gardner, Ritchie Humphreys, Ian Evatt, Ollie Banks, Drew Talbot and Emmanuel Dieseruvwe all vying for starting places should he wish to freshen up his team.

Crawley could hand a full debut to former Spireite Dean Morgan.

The much-travelled striker joined on loan from Woking late last week and came on as a second-half substitute during the 1-0 defeat at Fleetwood on Saturday which left Town bottom of the table.

Veteran goalkeeper Brian Jensen is set to miss out again after dislocating his thumb a fortnight ago so Lewis Price continues between the sticks.

Defender Dean Leacock has a groin problem, Conor Henderson an ankle injury and fellow midfielder Josh Simpson is a few weeks away with hamstring trouble.
