Oldham Athletic AFC vs Rochdale preview - Latics' Dale clash postponed

Oldham have announced that their Sky Bet League One clash with Rochdale on Tuesday night has been postponed.
Latics revealed that the Football League's safety group had made the early decision to call the game off due to sub-zero temperatures and the forecast of snow in the area around SportsDirect.com Park on Tuesday.
"Player and spectator safety are always the primary considerations when determining whether a game can go ahead," Latics chief executive Neil Joy said in a statement on their official website.
"Areas of the club's footpath are treacherous and with the ground temperatures not expected to rise above freezing over the next 24 hours and snow forecast before, during and after the game, it's the right decision.
"We would like to thank the Football League for making an early decision to postpone the game and therefore minimising the disruption to supporters of both clubs and look forward to playing the fixture at a time when everyone can enjoy it in a safe environment."
As yet, no new date has been set for the rearranged contest.
