Massimiliano Allegri not expecting Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli at Juventus
Mario Balotelli: Juventus deny link with Liverpool striker

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has denied speculation linking Mario Balotelli with a move back to Serie A.

The Italy striker has scored just twice since joining Liverpool last summer and has yet to score his first Premier League goal.

Allegri coached Balotelli at Milan before he took over as Juve boss but says there is no truth in the stories linking them with a reunion.

He told Italian TV station RAI: "I think this is a made up story. Balotelli has done very well with me but he belongs to Liverpool and he is not a player that can arrive at Juventus."

Balotelli, who has also been linked with Paris St-Germain, has been struggling with a groin injury since November and agent Mino Raiola is confident he will come good at Anfield.

"I'm not worried," Raiola told RAI. "Mario has been out for almost 10 weeks with an injury and you cannot judge him until he is 100 per cent fit. It's not easy to go abroad and adapt quickly to a new team."

And Raiola says there are no regrets about Balotelli's less than successful return to the Premier League, where he enjoyed intermittent success in three seasons with Manchester City.

"Decisions are judged at the time when they are made," Raiola added. "In the summer, it was right for Balotelli to leave Milan and I would do it again.

"Mario has gone to the best league in the world. Now he is not doing well at Liverpool for different reasons but Mario is calm and he is working to return to be in top condition. I do not regret this transfer and Mario's departure from Milan."
