Barnsley - Oldham Athletic AFC preview - Turnbull back for Reds

Ross Turnbull is set to return in goal for Barnsley in Monday's clash with Oldham.

Turnbull missed the Boxing Day defeat to Preston after seeing red against Leyton Orient but has now completed his ban and is likely to replace Adam Davies.

Reds boss Danny Wilson could again be without injured pair Joe Dudgeon and James Bree, while Sam Winnall continues to be a long-term absentee with a hamstring problem.

George Williams made his debut as a second-half substitute at Deepdale and may be handed his first start as Wilson copes with the demands of two games in 48 hours.

Paul Rachubka looks set to continue in goal for Oldham.

Latics boss Lee Johnson revealed on-loan Bolton stopper Paddy Kenny (groin), who is only with Oldham until January, had returned to his parent club to be assessed.

Oldham have lost four in a row but Johnson admits risking Liam Kelly (hamstring) remains "a giant risk" ahead of their mini-break.

Club captain Adam Lockwood (knee) and striker Rhys Turner (hamstring) remain the two long-term absentees for Johnson's side.
