Chelsea have confirmed that striker Fernando Torres will join AC Milan in a permanent deal in January.
The Spanish international - who joined the Blues for £50m in January 2011 - moved to the Serie A giants in the summer on a two-year loan deal, but it has been announced that it will now become a permanent transfer as of January 5.
The former Liverpool striker spent three-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, during which time he helped the club win the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup crowns.
Chelsea thanked the 30-year-old for his service to the club in a statement.
