Rochdale - Fleetwood Town preview - Lund to miss out for Dale
Posted Saturday, December 27, 2014 by PA
Rochdale midfielder Matty Lund will miss the clash with Fleetwood through injury.
Lund was stretchered off in the early stages of Dale's Boxing Day defeat to Scunthorpe and manager Keith Hill later confirmed he had dislocated his shoulder.
Andy Cannon is in line to replace Lund and Hill could make further changes for his side's second game in 48 hours, with Reuben Noble-Lazarus and Calvin Andrew among those waiting in the wings.
The loss at Glanford Park was Rochdale's first in five games in all competitions and saw them lose their place in the top six.
Danny Andrew is unlikely to feature for Fleetwood.
The full-back limped off in the first half of Friday's loss to Bradford to be replaced by the experienced Stephen Crainey, who could start in his place following his recovery from a foot problem.
Nathan Pond is back in training following a knock, although he was not included in the matchday squad against the Bantams, while Conor McLaughlin picked up his fifth yellow card of the season and must serve a one-game ban.
Graham Alexander's attacking options are once again limited by the long-term injuries to Jamille Matt and David Ball (both leg).
