Garath McCleary faces a race against time to be fit for Reading's Championship clash with Norwich at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday.
The midfielder missed Friday's 2-2 draw at Brighton after picking up a minor injury in training.
Aaron Kuhl was an unused substitute at Amex Stadium after recovering from the knock he picked up in mid-October and could push for some playing time if Steve Clarke feels fresh legs are needed.
Anton Ferdinand, Jem Karacan, Hope Akpan, Jamie Mackie, Danny Guthrie and Pavel Pogrebnyak are all still absent.
Alex Tettey and Carlos Cuellar are the two major doubts for Canaries boss Neil Adams.
Tettey missed the 6-1 win over Milwall with a knee problem but is set to travel with the squad.
Cuellar was forced off in the dying stages with a calf injury and is rated a major doubt by Adams, who is likely to call on the depth of his squad.
Cameron Jerome and Gary O'Neil were both substituted early on but should be fit, while Ryan Bennett made his return to the squad after three months out and could feature.
