Plymouth will be hoping to bounce back from their loss at Newport when they host Oxford on Sunday. It was just John Sheridan's second loss in Argyle's last 10Nelson league outings and they will be hoping to retain a play-off place. Captain Curtis Nelson, who has not played since mid-December, is still a doubt to return from a dislocated elbow.Dom Blizzard will make the squad after a calf injury, but Peter Hartley is still a doubt and Dean Smalley is a long-term absence following surgery.
Oxford's Joe Riley will be assessed after limping off in their Boxing Day defeat at home to Shrewsbury.
The defender was taken off as a precaution with a tight hamstring on Friday and, should he not make it, Oxford could stick with a three-man defence.Meanwhile, Jonathan Meades should be available after an early blow to the face forced him off the field against the Shrews.
19 months after signing for the U's, Meades made his debut and lasted just 17 minutes before he was replaced. James Roberts made a return from the bench and he could get more game time when United visit Home Park.
