Carlisle - York City preview - Cumbrians low on numbers

Carlisle boss Keith Curle has a number of injury concerns ahead of the game against York.

Connor Brown (knock), Troy Archibald-Henville (knee) and Danny Grainger (back) were nursing injuries after the Boxing Day victory at Morecambe and a 48-hour turnaround could scupper their hopes of featuring.

Gary Dicker (knee) and Billy Paynter (Achilles) remain sidelined, while Alex Marrow (abductor muscle tear) and Steven Rigg (thigh) are still struggling.

The 20th-placed Blues are aiming to record a third successive victory for the first time this season.

York will travel north without the suspended Brad Halliday.

The on-loan Middlesbrough teenager was given his marching orders for a two-footed challenge in the second half of the clash with Accrington and begins a three-match ban.

The Minstermen held on for victory despite playing for more than 35 minutes with 10 men but that will no doubt have taken its toll on those who completed 90 minutes.

Marvin McCoy, Carlton Morris and Josh Carson are among Russ Wilcox's options as he looks for the win which would lift his side above Carlisle in the table.
