Kroos' moving message to La Paz children
HE WANTS TO WIN THE CLUB WORLD CUP FOR THEM

Toni Kroos has posted a touching message on his Facebook page addressed to the children of La Paz Hospital, after the German midfielder recently accompanied several of his football and basketball teammates on their traditional visit to the clinic at this time of year.

Kroos' message tells how he was moved when he visited the children of La Paz and his desire to win the Club World Cup for them. Real Madrid take on San Lorenzo de Almagro in the final of the competition on Saturday (20:30).

The full text of the Kroos' letter is as follows:

"One week ago we were visiting children in the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid. I was moved to see them suffering with their hearts full of hope and grace and happiness.

I was thinking about that a lot during the last few days. And some everyday things that we complain or care about became so meaningless to me.

I will try to help the children and their parents. With things I don't talk about. And with every win we achieve with our club. Because now I know how much joy we bring to them.

With one week to go until Christmas and with only two days to go until the next match I promise to do what I can to bring you joy.

Thanks for your support and thanks for sharing my thoughts.

Toni".
