Real Madrid's Colombian player James Rodriguez was onfield during Real Madrid's final training session at their Valdebebas training ground before travelling to Rabat. Both Cristiano Ronaldo and Sami Khedira were absent from the session.
James is studying his options for playing in the Club World Cup. Following his recovery programme for the muscle injury in his right calf, before going to Morocco he did go onto the pitch at the Real Madrid training ground to do a little light training to improve his condition, away from the rest of the group.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is confident that if his recovery goes along well, and if Real Madrid get there, he'll be able to pick James for the Club World Cup final.
This final training session in Madrid before leaving for Morocco included reserve player Álvaro
Medrán, but Cristiano Ronaldo and Khedira stayed inside and did not go onto the pitch.
According to the club website, Ancelotti organised specific training for goalkeepers Iker Casillas, Keylor Navas and Fernando Pacheco, and the outfield players were divided into four groups to do passing and ball control exercises.
