Milan and Chelsea desperate to ditch Torres

HAPLESS STRIKER OUT OF FAVOUR AGAIN
Worthless. This is the word chosen by British tabloid The Mirror to head their story about Fernando Torres, whom Milan apparently want to send back to Chelsea ASAP despite him having a year and a half left on his loan deal.
Torres has only scored once in ten Serie A appearances for the 'Rossoneri' and has fallen way down Filippo Inzaghi's pecking order.
Chelsea, meanwhile, have no space for the Spaniard, who saw his action limited under José Mourinho last season, which was before Diego Costa, Loïc Rémy and Didier Drogba were added to the squad. As a result, if Torres - whose contract runs until 2016 - does end up back at Stamford Bridge, he will duly be offered up on loan for free to anyone who is willing to pick up his salary.
