Brighton vs Millwall preview - Seagulls set to be without duo

Brighton are set to be without Gordon Greer and Sam Baldock for their crunch clash with fellow strugglers Millwall.

Skipper Greer is expected to miss his third match in a row with a knee problem and striker Baldock is a major doubt due to the thigh injury which kept him out of Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Derby.

Midfield duo Dale Stephens (ankle) and Andrew Crofts (cruciate) remain long-term absentees for the Seagulls, who have won just one of their last 16 Championship matches and lie in the relegation zone.

But under-pressure boss Sami Hyypia can welcome back Spanish forward Adrian Colunga after suspension.

Millwall have been on a similarly wretched run having picked up one win from 15 outings and are just two places and two points above their opponents.

Winger Lee Martin will be absent again having missed last weekend's 5-1 home mauling by Middlesbrough with a toe injury.

Midfielder Nicky Bailey is back in training after shaking off the latest in a string of calf problems which have hindered him all season but he will not be rushed back into action, and right-back Carlos Edwards is recovering from cruciate ligament damage.

Danny Shittu is poised to return at centre-half with manager Ian Holloway set to ditch his experimental three-man defence after the Lions found themselves 4-0 down by half-time last Saturday.
