Stevenage Borough vs Morecambe preview - Westley has limited options
Posted Friday, November 28, 2014 by PA
Stevenage boss Graham Westley will assess his threadbare attacking options ahead of the visit of Morecambe.
Strikers Chris Beardsley (leg), Adam Marriott (hamstring) and Calvin Zola (ankle) have all missed out recently and it remains to be seen whether any of that attacking trio will feature.
Westley switched Darius Charles from defence to attack last time out but youngster Roarie Deacon could he handed a recall up front after scoring in a Hertfordshire Senior Cup tie in midweek.
Arsenal loanee Jack Jebb, who also netted during Tuesday's 2-0 win against Bishop Stortford, could come in for his first senior Boro appearance.
Morecambe must cope without suspended duo Alan Goodall and Kevin Ellison.
Defender Goodall and midfielder Ellison are both banned for one match after each picked up a fifth booking of the season in last week's loss at Portsmouth.
At least playmaker Jamie Devitt handed the Shrimps a boost when returning earlier than expected from a torn hamstring to feature as a second-half substitute at Fratton Park.
Goalkeeper Scott Davies is set to continue between the posts after this week extending his loan spell from Fleetwood until January, while Andreas Arestidou may make the bench after recovering from an ankle injury.
