Watford vs Cardiff City preview - Gomes a worry for Watford

Watford goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is a doubt for the visit of Cardiff.
The Brazilian is struggling with tendinitis and needs a late fitness check, with Jonathan Bond standing by to deputise.
Midfielder Almen Abdi could be added to the squad after proving his fitness with a run-out for the under-21s after a month on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.
Gabriel Tamas is the only definite absentee as the defender continues his recovery from a cruciate injury.
Cardiff could be unchanged as they look for their first away win of the season.
Russell Slade left out key men Bruno Manga and Fabio to keep faith with a settled side and Ben Turner and Matt Connolly look set to keep that pair out of the team once more.
Adam Le Fondre and Federico Macheda are expected to get the chance to team up again in Slade's preferred 4-4-2 system.
Craig Noone put pen to paper on a new deal this week and the winger will keep his place in the starting line-up as the Bluebirds look to end a miserable recent run on their travels.
