Marseille vs Nantes preview - Bielsa contemplating changes

Marseille boss Marcelo Bielsa has not yet decided whether to make changes to his side for Friday's home clash with Nantes after welcoming a group of players back from injury.

Bielsa revealed defenders Nicolas N'Koulou and Jeremy Morel, midfielder Alaixys Romao and winger Romain Alessandrini were fit again, but declined to say if any of the quartet would come into the team.

"I have not yet decided on the type of team to play against Nantes," Bielsa said on the Marseille website.

"To forget those who are back in training is to have a bad memory; to not value those who replaced them would be unfair."

OM, who are still without Andre Ayew, go into the match top of Ligue 1, leading champions Paris St Germain by a point after a 3-1 home win over Bordeaux last time out.

They came from behind to win with goals in the 85th and 89th minutes.

Nantes' impressive form has lifted them up to fourth place, with the club unbeaten in nine league games. They have won their last three matches on the road and head to the south coast knowing another victory would put them within four points of the summit.

They have the best defensive record in the league, with only nine goals conceded in 14 games, and Bielsa is aware of their strengths.

He said: "They are a team that know how to play in their own half and are comfortable defending in front of their own goalkeeper.

"They take advantage of set-pieces and are very good on the wings. The move the ball very quickly from defence to attack."
