JOSE MOURINHO has praised his Chelsea players for their great performance against Schalke.
The Blues secured their place in the last 16 of the tournament with an empathic 5-0 victory over the German giants.
Speaking after the game, Mourinho hailed his players for their extraordinary performance against the Germans, and claimed that at the moment his team is full of confidence.
He said: "They did a fantastic match.
"At this moment this team is very mature and is very confident.

"Obviously to win in the Champions League five nil away is not normal.
"Five nil away in German is even less normal, but the performance was very impressive.
"Every player individually and the team as a team I think the performance was very complete and very impressive."
