JOSE MOURINHO says Chelsea will not be signing Borussia Dortmund ace Marco Reus.
The Blues have been hotly tipped to land the German ace next summer.
Premier League rivals Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are also understood to be in the race for the 25-year-old, while Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona and German champions Bayern Munich are understood to be monitoring the situation.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow night's Champions League clash with Schalke, Mourinho insisted Chelsea will not be mounting a bid for the player.
NO GO: Jose Mourinho has ruled out a Chelsea move for Marco Reus
Reus' future has been the subject of much speculation after it was revealed he has a release clause in his contract that will make his available for around £20m.
Bayern are understood to be leading the chase for the player, who was recently ruled out until the new year with an ankle ligament injury after a tackle by Paderborn's Marvin Bakalorz in a 2-2 draw at the weekend.
"It was a horrific moment," head coach Jurgen Klopp said about the tackle which caused the injury. "It's a red card.
"A draw in Paderborn isn't that dramatic, but the loss of Reus is harder to accept."
