Peterborough United vs Swindon preview - Mclean added to Posh squad

Aaron Mclean will be added to the Peterborough squad for the visit of Swindon.

Mclean, who won three promotions with Posh during his first spell at the club between 2006 and 2010, returned to London Road this week on loan from League One rivals Bradford. It remains to be seen whether manager Darren Ferguson will start with the striker as he has not featured for the Bantams since mid-October.

Gaby Zakuani should be back from international duty. The defender was a substitute in two matches as DR Congo failed to reach the finals of the African Cup of Nations.

Posh have no fresh injury worries. Only long-term absentees Marcus Maddison (ankle) and Jack Baldwin (knee) are unavailable for selection.

Swindon will be boosted by the return of international duo Yaser Kasim and Massimo Luongo when they make the trip.

Kasim and Luongo, who had been away with Iraq and Australia respectively, have returned to The County Ground and trained with their team-mates and the midfielders could be recalled to the side.

But they will face a tough battle to regain their places after the Robins beat local rivals Bristol City in their absence and Mark Cooper has no injury worries after those three points.

That derby victory pushed Cooper's men into second in League One, just four points behind leaders City.
