AFC Wimbledon vs York City preview - Frampton still out for Dons

AFC Wimbledon are likely to go into their FA Cup first-round replay with York unchanged.

Andy Frampton is still out after injuring the same ankle he fractured in pre-season during their 1-1 draw with York in the first tie.

Alan Bennett will continue to deputise for the defender, who scored the equaliser against the Minstermen.

"Everyone is fine and raring to go," assistant manager Neil Cox told Dons Player. "We are just having a look at one or two players with knocks, but they should be fit.

"We've had a bit of chopping and changing at the back with Andy Frampton getting injured and Alan Bennett coming back in, but places are up for grabs."

York midfielder Josh Carson could make his first start of the season.

Carson made his first appearance since recovering from summer knee surgery when stepping off the bench in Saturday's home defeat to Oxford.

Goalkeeper Jason Mooney could make a rare first-team appearance. Current first choice Alex Cisak has been refused permission to play by parent club Burnley and Michael Ingham is struggling with a shoulder problem.

New midfield loan signing Brad Halliday is ineligible following his arrival from Middlesbrough and boss Russ Wilcox must decide whether to retain Stephane Zubar in defence or recall John McCombe.
