The real reason why Angel Di Maria joined Manchester United

Angel Di Maria has revealed he joined Manchester United because of Paris St Germain's Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Di Maria, 26, was heavily linked with a move to the French capital before he joined the Red Devils, and several reports suggested Laurent Blanc was a preparing a bid in the region of £50m for the former Real Madrid ace.
Speaking to French television station Telefoot, Di Maria spoke about the speculation linking him with a move to the Parc Des Princes and claimed that the he would've joined the Ligue 1 champions had their finances been in order.

He said: “PSG, I think they had a money problem and they couldn't buy players."
"This is the main reason I didn't go there."
"Playing in the French league would please a lot of players."
