Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was spotted hanging out with former manager Pep Guardiola after voting for Catalan independence last night.
The Bayern Munich coach flew over to his hometown to contribute to the elections regarding the independence of Catalonia and obviously arranged to meet up with his former student while he was about.
Pique was probably looking for guidance and advice as he’s enduring a rough time under current Barca boss Luis Enrique. The defender was humiliated at the weekend when Enrique gave orders to him to warm up – despite all three substitutes already being used.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the pair met up close to the home of another Barca old boy Thiago Alcantara, who currently plays at Bayern, having followed Guardiola to Germany. Could Pique follow the same route?
