UNEMPLOYED: David Moyes has been out of work since being sacked by Manchester United in April

Wales boss Chris Coleman, who managed Sociedad for six months, says the ex-Manchester United boss should take the job in Spain.

Sociedad this week revealed they are in talks with Moyes, who has been out of work since he was sacked by United in April.

Coleman said: "I'd say to David take the job. The city are absolutely crazy about the club and they have incredible fans.

"It's a good club and they can be a force. San Sebastian is a great football city.

"It was a great experience for me. When I look back on my managerial career that is probably my biggest regret - leaving Sociedad.

"I should have shut my mouth and just got on with the job but when you are younger you are more inexperienced.

"They were in the Champions League last year and if you are a manager at that level where Moyes is I would say take it.

"It didn't work out at Man United for whatever reason and he got his fingers burnt, but he's got to come back."

Coleman named a 25-man squad yesterday for their Euro 2016 qualifier in Belgium next Sunday.

And Coleman has defended under-fire Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

"He's a fabulous player and he just needs more time.

"Aaron needs to keep playing and play regular football. That's when we see the best of him.

"Stop, start is difficult. If he having a period when he is not at his best it's only a period because he is still a great player. Once he gets his rhythm he will be back to his best. He just needs the minutes.

"He has played in games for us where we haven't been at our strongest and he has totally run the game from one box to the other. If you look at a player Luka Modric who can dictate at both ends of the pitch and Aaron can do that."

Wales squad: Hennessey, O Williams, Ward, Chester, Collins, Davies, Dummett, Gabbidon, Gunter, Matthews, Ricketts, Taylor, A Williams, Huws, Allen, Evans, Ramsey, Ledley, Cotterill, J Williams; Bale, Lawrence, Robson-Kanu, Taylor, G Williams.
